So I have been a bit scarce for a while. Nothing to do with my creative juices running dry, but more about not enough minutes in the day!
Just wanted to tell you all about my wonderful creative night - surrounded by arty types - that I exhibited at last week!
On the Pulse is a monthly event at the Bassment in Chelmsford. We had a fantastic line up of artists from poetry readers (Irie Firat) and comedians (Mr Shillaker & James Sarek) to vocalists Ollie Jenkins (Singer Songwriter) and an electronic band CEllS who had us all dancing the night away.
Former "Shamen" vocalist Cheryl C Hemmings, played her acoustic set, and showcased some wonderful new material!
50% of the proceeds go to local homeless shelter CHESS which seeks to relieve homelessness and related hardship and distress amongst single adults in Chelmsford and Essex, through the provision of support services and temporary accommodation that helps them move on in their lives.
And of course I have a few of my pieces on display too.
